At The Local Find instead of returns, we offer exchanges or store credit (for other products from the same maker you purchased the product from). This is done to place a high value on our Maker's time, so they can spend more time creating and innovating. This also helps keep the costs down for local makers, making buying local more viable for all.
We offer exchanges, with the exception of Bath & Food products (see below). If Buyers wish to exchange an item, it will be sent back to the Maker address and the buyer will either receive a credit or an exchange will be given. Any shipping costs associated with the exchange will be paid by the Buyer.
*If there is a manufacturing defect with your product a RETURN may be issued, and you the Maker, and any associated shipping charges are the responsibility of the Maker. >> See our Delivery Policy here.
BATH & FOOD PRODUCTS
We are unable to accept returns or exchanges when a "wrong" product has been purchased because these makers / producers are unable to resell product returned according to the standards set by Health Canada.Therefore all sales are final for these products.
